What is Facebook Open Source Immersion Challenge?

Facebook Open Source Immersion Challenge initiative is a month-long celebration of Open Source technology, run by Facebook. The goal of this initiative is to provide developers with practical education and experience contributing to Open Source projects in preparation for our annual Developer Circles Community Challenge later this year.

Steps to Participate

  • Register or login at github.com
  • Sign up on the Developer Circles Open Source Immersion registration page
  • Sign Facebookโ€™s contributor license agreement (CLA) here
  • Create a minimum of 4 contributions/PR into Open Source projects with at least 1 out of 4 PR towards any project within DevC GitHub Org or any Facebook-led Open Source project. Make sure you submit these before the deadline, August 15, 2020, at 11:59:59 PM PST.
  • Share your GitHub profile or the link of your PR to your local Developer Circles Facebook group.
